Welcome to the Sling Shack!  I am so glad that you are interested in what we have to offer.  Here is a little bit about how it all got started...

I am a proud Mama of two boys.  A 2 year old who I like to call Monk or sometimes Monkadilly and an infant who has been called Bebo since the day he was born.  I fell in love with a snugli carrier that I was given for a shower gift when I had Monk, but he outgrew it quickly and I didn't know all the possiblities there were out there to wear your child so I quit wearing him.  When I became pregnant with Bebo I started researching ways to make my life easier with two small children.  I love to be able to take my two year old to the public pool and to the park, but I was beginning to question how I would be able to do this with a new baby.  I stumbled upon this idea of babywearing by reading mommy blogs and became VERY interested.  The first wrap I purchased was a Moby.  I started wearing Bebo in it the day he came home from the hospital.  Wearing him made the transition for him as well as for me so easy.  I fell in love with wearing my baby.  I started trying other carriers like the Mei Tai, ring sling, and pouch sling and fell in love with those as well all for different reasons.  I have worn Bebo in some type of carrier ever since and I have found that rarely does he fuss when he is held close to me.  I love babywearing so much that I want others to experience the joys of holding your baby close and also to be able to become educated about the benefits of wearing your child.  I love the fact that in almost all the carriers I sell you can wear your child well into toddlerhood.  My hope is that you will love these products just as much as I do and that they will make your life easier just as they have made mine.
